Vending Machine Labels: Match Selection Codes to the Right Replacement Set

Identify the label function and machine model before ordering replacement stickers or inserts.

When buying vending machine labels, first identify what the label must tell the customer. A selection code identifies the item to order. A price label shows an amount. A cabinet graphic provides branding. Replacing one does not automatically update the others.

For an operator replacing faded or missing selection labels, the useful question is which set fits the actual machine and its current tray layout. Two published parts listings show why a generic search for vending stickers is only a starting point.

What does a selection label identify?

Vendnet's Selection Label listing, SKU 4203707, describes a label identifying the product associated with a particular button. That explains the customer-facing function. The description reviewed on 8 November 2026 does not establish universal compatibility with other machines.

A selection number may instead be the code entered on a keypad. Vending Concepts' VC147 selection label set is described as marking those numbers for National snack machines. Its published fit list names National 147, 148, 157, 158, 167 and 168, and asks buyers to compare the number on the old part before ordering.

These are third-party parts examples, not WEIMI part recommendations. Neither listing proves that its set fits a WEIMI cabinet. Use the exact machine and part identification when requesting a replacement.

Check the format before ordering

Provide the supplier with the machine model, identification and a photograph of the label location. If available, include the existing part number and a readable example of the current numbering. Ask whether the proposed item is an adhesive sticker, a replaceable insert or another format, and confirm the dimensions for the individual label and its holder.

A product listing's overall dimensions are not enough to establish the size of each label in a set. Ask for the relevant drawing or individual measurements instead of treating a package or set dimension as the size of one sticker.

Confirm which codes and quantities are included. If the cabinet layout has changed, send the current layout for review. A set can carry the expected brand or model name while still requiring a check against the actual arrangement and replacement scope.

Keep codes, products and prices aligned

Vending Concepts recommends replacement when its selection labels are faded, peeling or missing, or after tray rearrangement. After any approved replacement or layout change, compare each affected label with the intended product position and the machine's configured selection.

Use the supplier's approved checking procedure to confirm that the customer-facing code leads to the intended product. Record unresolved mismatches before returning the affected selection to normal sale. This is an operator verification recommendation; it is not evidence that a particular label set has been tested on your equipment.

Check prices separately. Applying a new code or price sticker does not itself establish that the controller or payment system has changed. Our drink vending price-change guide covers reconciliation between the displayed information and charged amount.

Order the label, not an unrelated graphics service

If the purpose is to refresh a logo or cabinet appearance, specify that separately from selection labels. Our vending wraps and panel graphics comparison explains those formats. A branding order should preserve usable selection information rather than replace its functional review.

For a WEIMI enquiry, send the exact machine identification, label photographs, current product layout and the codes or information needing replacement. Ask which replacement format is available for that configuration, what the set contains and how the supplier recommends checking it. For a new equipment order, agree the customer-facing selection information before accepting the layout. Get My Custom Quote.
