Rotary Vending Systems: Check Single and Dual Shelf Configurations

A documented rotary option needs its own dividers, approved positions and package review.

If a supplier offers a rotary vending system, ask what changes on the shelf. A single or dual version can require different components and supported positions. The mechanism name alone does not establish the number of usable selections or whether your existing shelf can accept it.

A public SandenVendo manual gives a specific example. The details below describe the equipment covered by that manual. They do not establish the same architecture on every rotary vending system or confirm availability on a WEIMI model.

What do single and dual mean in this example?

Section 4.2.4.4 of the SandenVendo user and maintenance manual hosted by Torebrings illustrates single and dual Rotary versions on printed page 50. It states that each single system connects to a standard motor.

Printed page 51 says the dual version can only occupy the slots available for dual standard spiral selections. It also specifies a standard motor and a return motor for each dual system. These are configuration requirements for the documented equipment, not a universal retrofit specification.

For a quotation, request a shelf drawing showing which positions use the single version and which use the dual version. Ask the supplier to state the resulting independently selectable product positions. Do not count every visible mechanism as a separate customer selection.

Check the dividers as part of the option

The manual requires the special dividers illustrated for the Rotary system and says the standard plastic dividers cannot be installed with these mechanisms. This is a concrete reason to review the whole shelf assembly before approving a conversion.

Ask whether the offer includes the supported dividers, motors, wiring and any other components required by the exact model. For an existing machine, give the supplier its identification details and current shelf configuration. A similar-looking shelf is not evidence of compatibility.

Review the finished pack before choosing the layout

On printed page 52, the manual warns against deformed products and products with projecting tabs or other protrusions. It recommends flat-bottom products and checking delivery before putting products on sale. It also discusses centered loading and clearance from the column sides.

Use these points to prepare representative retail samples for the supplier. Include the complete bag, tray, sleeve or box rather than only the item inside. Ask the supplier to assess the actual pack against the supported configuration and provide its loading instructions.

These statements do not prove that every flat-bottom pack will dispense successfully. The manual also links the loaded products to their software parameters. Product approval and the required settings belong to the proposed configuration.

Separate shelf release from the complete delivery path

A shelf option describes only part of the purchase decision. Ask what happens after the item leaves its stored position and how it reaches the customer. Our bakery mechanism delivery-path review explains why shelf release, internal transfer and collection should be considered together.

Keep the Rotary hardware review distinct from a claim about damage-free handling, speed or reliability. The cited pages do not provide a comparative failure rate or establish that this option is best for every product.

What to send with your enquiry

Send the supplier the complete package dimensions, weight, intended assortment and desired number of selections. For an existing installation, add the exact machine identification and shelf photographs. Request a supported shelf plan, included component list and a demonstration using the intended packs.

For a WEIMI proposal, ask which dispensing arrangement is available for your products rather than requesting an unverified equivalent of another manufacturer’s option. Have the supplier explain the proposed mechanism and the associated loading and service requirements. Get My Custom Quote.
