A shipping amount does not necessarily cover the complete journey to an operating site. A custom vending budget should identify where each quoted responsibility ends. Ask for the named delivery term and destination, then check the remaining tasks with the appropriate transport and import specialists.
List packing, collection, main transport, destination handling, customs clearance, local delivery, unloading and movement into the building. Identify who arranges and pays for each applicable task. Mark an unknown amount as unresolved rather than treating it as zero.
Import charges depend on the actual shipment and destination. Obtain relevant advice and current estimates rather than borrowing a rate from another project. Record whether a tax is recoverable only when the buyer's responsible adviser confirms that treatment.
A freight provider and equipment supplier may both mention the same task. Confirm the boundary so it is not counted twice. Keep the machine configuration, packed shipment details, currency and quotation validity with the estimate. Recheck the budget when those inputs change.
