Replenishment begins before the cabinet opens. Product picking, vehicle loading, travel, parking and reconciliation can all require resources. Record the complete sequence and identify who performs each task. Measure a representative visit rather than borrowing another operator’s route time.
A larger machine does not automatically reduce visits if a popular selection empties quickly or product life requires rotation. Review the loading arrangement, actual demand and access schedule together. A capacity figure alone cannot establish the required workload.
For a route serving multiple locations, state how preparation and travel are allocated. Use the same allocation method when comparing sites. An allocated amount is not necessarily an avoidable expense: removing one stop may leave most travel or labor commitments unchanged. Keep that distinction visible in a relocation or closure decision.
