Vending Bill Validators: Does Currency Support Include the New Note Series?

Check dataset version and supported note releases before approving a cash configuration.

A vending quotation may say that the bill validator supports your country’s currency. That is a useful starting point, but it does not identify which banknote releases the proposed configuration accepts. If a new note series is important to your location, ask for evidence tied to that release and the exact validator.

Check the dataset rather than the currency name alone

Innovative Technology’s official Support Hub explains its currency dataset lookup in a public FAQ. The instructions first direct users to the required product and then to a currency filter. This product-specific route matters: a currency listing for a different validator is not evidence for the device in your quotation.

The same FAQ says that the filtered table provides Version, Firmware and Description. Further information is available through an information icon. Where available, specimen note images are included to show accepted note releases. Those fields give a buyer more precise questions than “does it accept this currency?”

Identify the note release you need

Tell the machine supplier which denominations and banknote series customers are expected to use. If several releases circulate at the location, identify each relevant release rather than calling them all the same currency. Ask the supplier to match that request to the manufacturer’s dataset information for the proposed hardware.

Record the validator model and variant, proposed dataset version, firmware information and the source identifying supported releases. Ask the supplier to state which configuration will actually be delivered. A current download listing alone does not establish what has been loaded into a particular machine.

Separate an update offer from verified acceptance

If a supplier proposes an update, ask it to confirm the supported process for the exact validator and the person responsible for the work. This guide does not provide a generic programming procedure. The public dataset lookup is not an instruction to install an arbitrary file on existing cash hardware.

Request a configuration-specific acceptance demonstration using the required genuine notes through the supplier’s agreed test process. Observe the credit shown by the complete vending machine as well as the validator response. Keep the version record with the delivery documents so later support can identify what was supplied.

New-note acceptance does not establish note payout

A dataset statement concerns the documented acceptance scope. It should not be treated as a promise that the machine can give that denomination back as change. Our bill acceptor versus banknote recycler guide explains why the payout requirement belongs in its own hardware and workflow review.

Prepare a precise WEIMI cash enquiry

Send the destination currency, required denominations and note releases, together with the validator identification if you already have a machine. Ask for written confirmation of the offered dataset and firmware configuration, the acceptance test and the update support scope.

The Innovative Technology FAQ explains one manufacturer’s documentation structure. It does not prove support for any particular new note in a WEIMI machine or establish a WEIMI update service for an unidentified validator. Confirm the proposed configuration before ordering. Get My Custom Quote.
