The Greek florist already had a shop. The Romanian project used an enclosed, branded flower kiosk. Both offered prepared bouquets through separate compartments, but the setting around the lockers was different. Looking at the two published records together makes that difference easier to understand.
The Greek installation placed a single-door flower-locker unit outside the florist’s premises. Bouquets were visible through the glass. A customer selected an arrangement, completed electronic payment and collected it directly from the corresponding compartment.
The new sales point remained connected to a place customers already knew as a flower shop. The record does not give the exact operating schedule or say that online preorder collection was enabled. It also leaves the compartment dimensions and cooling settings unspecified.
The Romanian record describes a weather-protective shelter, illuminated exterior signage and lit glass compartments. A central touchscreen handled selection, with a contactless terminal for the transaction. Once payment was verified, the selected door released.
Here, the flower-locker kiosk had its own exterior presentation. The signage identified the business and the lighting made the arrangements visible after dark. Temperature and humidity management are described, although the record provides neither logged conditions nor a weather-protection test report.
In both records, the buyer removed the arrangement from a compartment. There was no need for the bouquet to fall into a common delivery bin. That is a documented difference in the collection route; it is not evidence of a measured reduction in damage.
The two projects also show why “outdoor flower vending machine” is an incomplete brief on its own. A unit beside an existing storefront and a kiosk with its own shelter and signage involve different physical layouts. The published information supports that comparison without supplying a production drawing for either site.
Neither project publishes an auditable sales increase, bouquet freshness trial or payback calculation. Installation dates, refill intervals and the detailed cooperation timeline are also absent. The useful result is narrower: two completed flower retail formats, each described with a visible selection and direct collection process.
