WEIMI INSIGHTS / ELECTRONICS RETAIL
Help customers distinguish connectors, included parts and supported charging claims before they pay.
CONNECTORS
Show both ends of the cable.
CONTENTS
State whether an adapter is included.
CLAIMS
Use verified product specifications.
Customers should be able to identify exactly what is inside the package and whether it fits their intended setup before completing the purchase.
01 / BUYER NOTES
A customer asking for a charger may mean a cable, a wall adapter or both. Use specific product names on the machine. State the connector at each end of a cable and make it clear when the package contains only one component.
Do not rely on a phone-brand name alone. Devices and existing adapters can use different connections across generations. Keep the description tied to the actual product and its supported compatibility, using the manufacturer’s information rather than a broad “works with all phones” statement.
02 / BUYER NOTES
A connector shape does not by itself establish charging speed or every supported function. If you advertise a power rating or charging protocol, verify it against the product documentation and explain relevant dependencies in a concise way. The customer’s device and adapter may also affect performance.
Avoid copying unsupported fast-charging claims from a marketplace listing. Keep evidence for the products you sell and check applicable electrical, labelling and market requirements with qualified parties. A vending cabinet does not remove the retailer’s responsibility for the goods inside it.
03 / BUYER NOTES
Use a clear product image, connector description, cable length and package contents where relevant. Distinguish visually similar variants with readable text. Customers buying in a hurry should not have to infer the difference from a tiny colour band on the box.
Review the offer from the customer’s position and language needs. If two products serve different purposes, explain the difference directly. Keep essential compatibility information visible before payment rather than placing it only in a support page the customer discovers after purchase.
04 / BUYER NOTES
Provide actual retail samples for the dispensing trial. Small accessory boxes, hanging tabs and flexible packs can snag or move unpredictably in the wrong configuration. Confirm the approved loading orientation and inspect the product after retrieval.
Define a clear route for reporting a defective or incorrectly supplied item. Keep the transaction reference and product identifier linked in the support process. Review repeated complaints by variant; they may point to unclear descriptions, a packaging change or a product-quality issue that requires action.
State: Both connectors, length and supported functions.
Make clear: A wall adapter is not included unless the package contains one.
State: Plug type, output ports and verified ratings.
Make clear: Which cable or other component the customer still needs.
State: Every included component and its relevant specification.
Make clear: Compatibility depends on the complete setup, not the kit name alone.
PRACTICAL ANSWERS
No. They can differ in supported power, data functions and construction. Describe the actual product using verified specifications.
Avoid a universal claim unless it is genuinely supported. Provide specific connector and compatibility information that customers can use.
No. The customer still needs a clear description of what is being sold, and applicable product and labelling requirements still need to be met.
