How Much Does a Vending Machine Weigh? Three Manufacturer Examples

Use model-specific figures and confirm what each weight includes.

How much does a vending machine weigh? The useful answer is the published figure for a specific model, followed by confirmation of what that figure includes. For three beverage machines on Fuji Electric's official CAN & PET page, the listed machine weights are 170 kg, 309 kg and 409 kg.

These examples were checked on 8 November 2026. They are third-party manufacturer specifications, not WEIMI machine weights or a claimed weight range for the whole vending industry.

Three documented beverage-machine weights

The following figures come from the Fuji Electric CAN & PET specification tables. Dimensions are height × width × depth. Pound values are calculated conversions, rounded to the nearest pound; the source publishes kilograms.

Fuji Electric model Listed machine weight Approximate pounds Published dimensions
FVM-CP11-B1NSC-KLV-1 170 kg 375 lb 1,830 × 870 × 625 mm
FVM-CP24 309 kg 681 lb 1,830 × 1,225 × 805 mm
FVM-CP28D2NIC-HDSN-1 409 kg 902 lb 1,830 × 1,425 × 805 mm

The exact model reference matters. A figure attached to one model should not be transferred to another machine because both sell cans and bottles. Confirm the current specification and supplied options with the manufacturer or seller before making delivery arrangements.

Does machine weight mean empty or fully stocked?

The cited tables label the field Machine weight. This review does not assume that label includes stock, packaging, a pallet or every optional component. Ask the supplier to define the figure rather than treating it as a confirmed loaded or shipping weight.

For your order, request separate figures where relevant: the supplied cabinet's weight and included equipment; the expected operating weight with the planned stock; and the gross weight of each final shipping package. Keep the model and configuration reference beside each number.

If the operating weight is calculated from cabinet and stock data, identify those inputs and label the result as a calculation. Do not substitute a product's net liquid volume for the gross weight of its filled retail pack. The supplier and site team should confirm the information they require.

Shipping weight and freight billing can differ

A crated machine is a different load from a cabinet in its installed position. Ask for the final package dimensions, gross weight and separately packed accessories. The machine dimensions in the table above are not confirmed crate dimensions.

A carrier may also use a service-specific chargeable-weight calculation. Our actual and volumetric freight-weight guide explains that separate billing question. A chargeable weight is not evidence that the cabinet physically weighs that amount.

A weight number does not approve the delivery route

Give the handling provider the exact load data and supplier instructions together with the site route. Doors, turns, lift access and the agreed unloading point need review for the actual delivery. Do not choose a handling method from the example weights in this article.

Our cabinet handling procurement guide covers the information and responsibility handoff. The competent provider must assess its equipment and method; a catalogue mass alone does not establish site suitability.

What to request for a WEIMI machine

Send the selected equipment configuration, product range and destination. Ask for the machine weight with its inclusion basis, expected loaded condition where needed, and final packed figures for transport planning. Use those confirmed figures for your own order rather than a Fuji example or an industry average. Get My Custom Quote.
