FIELD NOTES
A field-note format for buyers who need evidence before approving equipment.
The useful question is not whether a generic machine can sell snack packs. It is whether the proposed configuration, real product packs, operating team and site can complete the intended workflow with clear evidence and responsibilities.
01
Record the narrowest door, lift, turn and threshold on the actual route. Then distinguish packed dimensions from operating dimensions and leave room for doors, ventilation, refilling and service. A cabinet that fits the final floor mark may still be impossible to deliver or maintain.
02
Observe customer flow, cleaning activity, direct weather exposure and host access outside peak hours. The purpose is not to promise sales; it is to identify constraints that affect installation, support and safe daily work.
03
Send annotated measurements and photographs with the product list. Ask the supplier to flag assumptions and confirm which drawings, utilities and clearances apply to the exact configuration.
Treat requested options as requirements to assess, not confirmed capabilities. Do not infer price, certification, shelf life, legal compliance, return on investment or expected sales from a generic product description. Ask the responsible supplier or adviser for evidence relevant to the exact product, market and configuration.
Share the intended snack packs, destination market, site constraints and the records described above. Request a written configuration response and identify the next sample or site check before commitment.
